About Sony Ericsson W850i, You Should Know
The Sony Ericsson W850i is a slider-style phone that can be customized by changing the faceplate or the entire housing. Additional disassembly is required for more advanced customization. Technicians may need to completely dismantle a W850i to repair internal parts. A Sony Ericsson W850i can be completely disassembled using the following steps.
1. Turn the phone over. Slide the battery cover off by pressing toward the bottom of the phone. Remove the battery by lifting up and pulling out toward the bottom of the mobile phone battery.
2. Slide the phone open, keeping it faced down. Carefully pry up the metal plate on the back of the slider using a thin object like a small flat-head screwdriver. Remove the metal plate, wholesale card reader. Two small screws are now exposed beneath the metal plate. Remove them with a torx 6 screwdriver.
3. Carefully pry up the faceplate using a small flat-head screwdriver. Gently work the screwdriver between the front and back sections with the front slid out. Snaps will release on both sides.
4. Turn the phone over so the screen is facing up. Remove the faceplate. Slide the front down and back into place, card reader. Remove the two small screws located directly above the screen on each side with a torx 6 screwdriver.
5. Turn the phone over onto its face. Remove the two small screws located directly below the battery compartment on the right and left sides.
6. Pry the back and front of the phone apart by gently working the tip of a small flat-head screwdriver around the seam of the entire phone. Do not pull the front and back completely apart.
